This is where you can learn more about me (InvestAssetWealth). I am a Canadian Entrepreneur, Investor, and Computer Professional. The first investment I ever made was a $50000 university education. I worked tireless hours to complete my degree in Computer Science; it was even harder to pay for it all, but that’s exactly what I did: every last cent. Cutting grass, shoveling snow, washing dishes, serving tables, factory assembly lines - I would do anything to make a buck, and it all went to the university. It was the biggest challenge of my life… but I succeeded. My pockets were empty, yet I had something that nobody could ever take away. I’ve been at the bottom, and know what its like to live under the pressure of debt. My experiences were a clear indicator for me: I wanted to be my own boss and take control of my financial destiny.
I founded my first Information Technology (IT) company in 2004 and haven’t looked back since; this is my “day job”, minus the “9 to 5″ part. I am an avid investor on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) in Stocks, Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s), and Income Trusts. The stock market is known for its long-term growth, but I frequently use it to generate short-term income like any other business. Generally I am interested in any (legal) opportunity to make money that won’t tie me down. I am easily bored with monotony and like to be involved in various different ventures. Once I master one thing, I turn my attention to something else and start doing my homework. A “9 to 5″ day job does not fit my personality. I am very fortunate to wake up everyday with the freedom to dynamically plan my day. With hard work, discipline, and confidence - anything is possible.
